One of my favorite desserts is Siroopwafelen, also called Stroopwafel. They are thin waffles with syrup filling, first made in Gouda in the Netherlands, in 1784. I brought back few boxes want to give away to friends. Before I do so, I need to resist opening another box and indulge myself. I wonder whether it’s possible to buy them in Salt Lake City.
